Ken Pivak

My life and passion as an artist began in the streets of NYC, in the Bronx, as a graffiti artist. I was a teenage delinquent with an artistic conscience. It was thrilling, colorful and dangerous at times. I took chances, and thrived to be creative, throughout it all. I never left this attitude, just changed my medium. My love for photography became a natural progression. I turned my visions from walls and trains, to the photographic image.

Steve Thornton

A client once told Steve that he was 'The best seeker of light' they had ever worked with. Steve says: "In the creation of any image, light is the single most important element." He goes on to say, "Light quality is the most difficult to understand, but light in total is most important in the creation of any commercial imagery where the client is wanting to make a statement.

I am primarily a portrait photographer. I deeply believe in the collaborative process, where all ideas are considered. Because I am always prepared with a concept, my shoots are lightning fast and always a lot of fun. From simple setups for personal projects to complex composites for commercial clients, I deliver results that delight my clients. Recently I've been exploring experimental fashion sessions with very exciting, and award-winning, results.
